Six year old SAM feels all alone in the world.
His parents have separated, leaving his mother paralyzed by sadness and Sam desperately neglected. Jeered to tears by the class bully because of his dirty clothes, Sam has no where to turn, and no one to help fend off the terrifying LAUNDRY MONSTER lurking in the deepest, darkest corners of his basement.
